Overview
The Shimla-Manali 6-Day Tour is a popular package that begins in Delhi/Chandigarh. Spend the first two days of the tour in Shimla, the former Summer Capital of the British Raj. This picturesque hill station offers a stunning landscape of high ridges, emerald valleys, temples, pine forests, and deep gorges, providing the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Then, head to Manali, known as the Valley of Gods. Here, you can explore a variety of attractions, such as the Atal Tunnel, Rohtang Pass, Beas Kund, Hadimba Temple, and Vashist Hot Springs. Enjoy a thrilling rafting experience on the Beas River, or immerse yourself in Manali’s local culture by visiting Tibetan Monasteries and bustling markets with souvenir shopping opportunities.
Itinerary
Once you arrive at Delhi Airport or Railway Station, our representative will be on hand to assist you with your transfer to Shimla, the beloved "Queen of Hills" in Himachal Pradesh. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and take some time to settle in. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy however you wish - explore the area, take part in activities that interest you, or simply relax. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.
After a hearty breakfast, Day 2 is scheduled for an exciting excursion to Kufri, a must-visit destination. Nestled at an altitude of 2290 meters above sea level, Kufri is a tranquil paradise, boasting breathtaking scenery and a plethora of tourist attractions such as Mahasu Peak, Chini Bunglow, and Indira Tourist Park. Upon returning to Shimla, be sure to visit the Vice Regal Lodge, the former summer residence of various British viceroys, and marvel at its impressive English Renaissance architecture. Later in the evening, take a leisurely stroll along Mall Road and enjoy a delicious dinner before settling in for the night.
After breakfast on the third day, you will be transferred by road to Manali. Situated at an altitude of 2050 meters above sea level, Manali is a highly sought-after hill station that attracts tourists in droves every year. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and take some time to rest. En route, you can visit Kullu Market and Vaishno Mata temple. Dinner and overnight stay
After fueling up with a hearty breakfast, get ready to explore the prime attractions of Manali, Visit the Hadimba Devi Temple, an ancient structure that is over 450 years old and is dedicated to Hadimba Devi, the wife of one of the Pandava brothers, Bhim. Then, head to Jagatsukh, a small village that houses old Shikara-style temples. After that, cool off in the Vashisht Kund sulfur spring. Later in the day, explore the Tibetan Monastery, Van Vihar, and the handicraft center. In the evening, take a stroll down the famous Mall Road. Enjoy dinner and spend the night at the hotel.
Today, we have a full day of sightseeing and adventure planned at Solang Valley and Rohtang Pass. Solang Valley is located approximately 14 kilometers from Manali and is known for its breathtaking scenery and thrilling activities such as zorbing, rocket jumping, snow-biking, horse riding, ziplining, paragliding, skiing, etc. Our next stop is Rohtang Pass, which is situated at an elevation of 3978 meters and is blanketed in snow all year long. From June to October, visitors can enjoy playing in the snow and making the most of the day's fun activities and captivating views. After a full day of exploration, we will return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
A visit to Rohtang Pass is not included in the package and must be paid for separately.
